Day 13: Stratford-On-Avon

".. Has been an inspiriation to naked women everywhere..."

Leaving York, we headed towards Coventry, where Lady Godiva made her famous ride in protest of certain actions by the king at that time.  By the way, the idea of a "Peeping Tom" came from a story about Lady Godiva: that a stablehand named Tom peeked at her when she was riding through town (people were forbidden to be on the streets or open their windows when Lady Godiva rode, by order of the king).

All I know is that I spotted a Pizza Hut and made a beeline for it (I was dying for a good pizza).  Fortunately they had a buffet so I could induldge myself!

To Be, or Not to Be

Our next stop was Stratford-On-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare.
