Batman Forever (PG-13)

Starring: Val Kilmer, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Tommy Lee Jones

Contents: Cartoon violence

Rating: 6

Summary: Batman returns to fight the Riddler and Two-Face, while dealing with a new psychologist lady-love, a young man whos parents have been killed by Two-Face, and his own guilt about the death of his parents.

Not as good as the first two: the production values were lower and there was definitely a more "cartoonish" feel to the film. Also, the "jumping camera" shots during action scenes drive me nuts. Nicole has definitely been working on that Aussie accent! Of course, with the introduction of Robin, they were morally obligated to put in at least one "Holy <whatever>, Batman!" into the film.

On the plus side, Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones were absolutely outrageous. I swear, Carrey has no actual bone structure: just tendons and ligaments! Two-Faces' little abode (complete with Sugar and Spice) has to be seen to be believed!
