Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (PG-13)

Starring: Jim Carrey

Contents: Gross physical humor, sexual inuenndos, and a guy doing the Tarzan yell with his butt

Rating: 5

Summary: Ace retires to a buddist temple after a tragic incident with an escaped racoon. However, he returns to duty to help find the sacred White Bat of an african tribe in an attempt to stave off bloody intertribal warfare.

Jim Carrey is extremely funny when he's not being gross, and he is gross more than a few times in this film. Once or twice I closed my eyes rather than watch what I knew was coming. Believe me, you might want to be out in the lobby when Ace learns how one particular African tribe expresses friendship (gag, choke, ULP.....)

Aside from those bits, this is a VERY funny movie, with lots of the physical humor that Carrey does so well. You see him gradually loose control of his body at one point as he is being shot with poison darts. If you can stand the gross stuff, it's worth seeing.

Personally, I'm looking forward to "The Mask, Part II".
