Very cute: good date film if you are a romantic. There are some memorable characters: a cantankerous old priest who keeps trying to get Meaney back to church, Colm Meaney is a scream as Morgan "The Goat" (called that due to his keen interest in the local women whose husbands are away at war), and of course Hugh Grant being his usual slightly befuddled, very English self. |
