Summary: A ditzy Beverly Hills gal learns about life, love, and the
best shopping. Along the way she helps the new girl in school get into the "good
crowd", trys to boost her grades by getting two of her teachers together, and falls
for her step-brother.
My first inclination was about the same as my view on Beverly Hills, 90210: "Who
wants to see a movie about a bunch of spoiled, rich, shallow brats?" However, I found
that I actually like this film. It doesn't take itself too seriously, doesn't try to give
some deep message or something, and kept me laughing all the way through. Alicia
Silverstone has one of the best wide-eyed, total-innocent looks I've ever seen. There is
also a hilarious secne when she and her friends accidentally end up on
the freeway. A fun film.
