Quick Summary: Milo J. Thatch is obsessed with finding Atlantis.   One day, an eccentric old man gives him a book left to Milo by his grandfather.   He then joins an expedition that will seek out the location of Atlantis in order to find a mysterious power source.  But there is more to Atlantis than there seems...

This movie was a bit of a diversion for Disney: no cute singing animals, no songs at all for that matter.  Instead, it's a straight-up swashbuckling adventure, with some steampunk thrown in for good measure.  The plot keeps moving along at a good pace, the visuals are excellent, and there are even some unexpected twists and turns on the way.

Lots of fun: go see!

Things to Notice:

bulletAn attack on a Viking ship by a sea monster that was seen in some of the previews is missing from the film (hope they have it on the DVD!)
